We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative financial markets expert to execute and coordinate writing, editing, QA and operational projects for our Brazilian edition. Can you help us go to the next level?
This opportunity is on the basis of an ongoing freelance contract, Monday-Friday, 12:00-21:00 local time.

What you’ll do:
- Write news and edit/publish financial articles
- Execute and review translation projects
- Optimize different types of projects that require local knowledge of the Brazilian Markets
- Perform daily technical checks and QA
- Coordinate the journalists team
- Assist with special content projects (podcast, videos, interviews and social media)
- Collaborate closely and support the Brazilian Site Manager
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ proven experience as a financial or economic journalist
- Understanding of the financial markets and economy
- 3+ editing experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills in Brazilian Portuguese
- Proficiency in English
- Technical and Operational orientation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment, both independently and as part of a team
- Resident in São Paulo (preferably).
It will be a plus if you have:
- Interest/experience in trading
- Knowledge in editing videos and podcasts
- SEO and Social Media experience
- Experience in managing a team
