Investing.com, the leading global financial news & data platform, is on the lookout for an Automation QA Engineer that will join our Backend Infrastructure squads at Investing.com. In this role, you will be responsible for providing creative automation solutions and analyzing automation Issues.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will be in charge of the full automation procedure of the squad’s product
- Designing and implementing infrastructure and tests across all the testing pyramid
- You will work directly with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and SW engineers in order to continuously ship the product with robust and reliable quality gates
- As a part of the automation chapter, you will be in charge of continuously improving the underlying infrastructures of automation in the company
- Working with state-of-the-art technologies alongside top-notch engineers
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, SW or a similar discipline
- 3+ years of experience with writing automated tests, preferably both Backend and Frontend
- Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis etc.)
- Excellent/expert knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries, experience working with large scale
- Experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, C#
- Experience with REST API testing, Swagger OpenAPI/ Codegen knowledge as a plus
- Excellent understanding of OOP, SOLID
- Deep knowledge of at least one test framework: TestNG, JUnit, NUnit etc.
- Experience with version controlling in Git
- Experience with virtualization/ orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Good understanding of software testing theory and methodologies
- Team player with the ability to take full ownership
- Effective communication in English and Russian – both verbally and written
Advantages:

- Experience with UI testing tools (e.g Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Puppeteer, Cypress)

- Experience with Message Brokers instruments (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.)
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Grafana/ELK
