Investing.com, the leading global financial news & data platform, is on the search for a Data Analyst with a strong background in Tableau and Python to join our growing team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Utilizing Tableau to develop interactive and informative dashboards as well as data visualizations
• Leveraging Python for data preparation and construction of simple data pipelines.
• Collaborating with various departments to support the end-to-end process of report building: gathering requirements, interpreting business issues, defining metrics and KPIs, and creating reports/dashboards
• Perform Ad-Hoc data analysis for various departments
• Analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights, identify key trends, and inform decision-making
• Constructing SQL queries for data extraction and performing advanced data analysis to meet business needs
• Building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines to ensure accurate and efficient data flow into reports and dashboards
• Engaging in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders to ensure the final product meets the intended goals
• Effectively communicate insights and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience with Tableau for creating compelling and insightful data visualizations
• Proficient in Python for data wrangling and preparation (no machine learning involvement)
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases for report and dashboard data requirements
• Demonstrated ability in conducting thorough data analysis and turning data into understandable insights
• Experience in monitoring and reporting on key business metrics and performance indicators.
• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
