What you’ll be doing:

• Manage production infrastructure, including capacity planning, scaling, and autoscaling.
• Ensure high availability and resolve incidents in real-time.
• Write scripts in Shell or Python to automate processes.
• Work with Docker, Helmcharts, and Kubernetes to manage containerized applications.
• Implement infrastructure solutions using Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud providers.
• Automate workflows using tools like Ansible, Terraform.
• Deploy and manage CI/CD frameworks and configuration management tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Argo CD, Artifactory, Harbor.
• Run Kafka clusters in production environments.
• Manage load balancing solutions with Nginx and Envoy.
• Organize observability using tools such as Prometheus, Alertmanager, and OpenTelemetry.
• Work with ELK Stack, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra.
• Ensure adherence to core DevOps, CI-CD, and GitOps principles.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals.

What you’ll bring:

• BA or BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing production infrastructure.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell or Python.
• In-depth knowledge of Docker, Helmcharts, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud providers, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform.
• Experience with deployment, CI/CD frameworks, and tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Argo CD.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Nginx, Envoy, and observability tools like Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra.
• Strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to escalations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A team player with a goal-oriented mindset and a high level of output.
