Sales Manager

We are looking for a proactive and accomplished digital media sales and account manager, based in Madrid, who is highly effective in creating business development opportunities by generating sales from existing and new accounts with a focus on media agencies. You will come from the Spanish media market, be well connected to a host of valuable contacts within media agencies and have proven access to direct advertisers. By employing your top-notch communication and relationship building skills, the ideal candidate will stir-up and sustain demand through our desktop and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Build relationships with brand and agency contacts.
  • Seek new opportunities from existing clients.
  • Enhance and broaden portfolio with new clients.
  • Assist clients in the process of launching ad campaigns.
  • Regularly report campaign status and provide optimization ideas.
  • Interact with the ad operations team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Be responsible for customer success and long-term relationships.
  • Obtain, review and process orders and ensure timely payment collection. 

Requirements

  • Proficient English speaker.
  • Must have an understanding of digital technology, its revenue ecosystem and be able to explain product benefits within this context.
  • Come with a thirst to acheive, if not surpass, targets.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing online advertising campaigns.
  • Excellent communicator, presenter of ideas, great on the phone and solid account management abilities.
  • Understanding of branding and performance campaigns.
  • Experienced in structuring and negotiating deals within the digital media space.
  • Passionate about online content, native advertising and a strong customer experience advocate.
  • Analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and identifying/monitoring trends in data reports.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Google Ad Manager is advantageous.
