Investing.com, the leading global financial news & data platform, is on the lookout for a Senior Mobile QA Engineer with extensive experience in testing and debugging iOS and Android mobile applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products, which will be utilized by millions of users. You will work closely with our development team to identify and prioritize defects and maintain a consistent, documented process for defect tracking and resolution.
What you’ll be doing:
- Test and debug iOS and Android mobile applications to ensure high-quality user experiences
- Keep up to date on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment
- Solve complex business problems while ensuring the product is highly scalable, secure, and performant
- Understand the role of testing within the software development lifecycle and business-related project constraints
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, maintaining a consistent, documented process throughout
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in testing iOS and Android mobile applications and a deep understanding of their ecosystem
- Experience in developing and maintaining test suites through formal test design methods to ensure optimal test coverage
- Experience in developing and maintaining smoke, performance, functional, and regression tests with E2E orientation
- User-oriented mindset with the ability to understand the impact of features and bugs on the business and prioritize bugs independently
- Proactive attitude in researching the root cause of identified defects
- Deep understanding of the iOS and Android ecosystems
- Highly experienced with API testing (e.g., using Postman)
- Experience with network debugging (e.g., using Proxyman, Charles, and Wireshark)
- Experience with analysis of mobile apps logs and analytics (e.g., Crashlytics, Logcat, Firebase)
- Excellent perception of both backend and frontend layers
- Excellent English communication skills
Advantages:
